Consulting

The judgment that comes from twenty years behind the camera.

Video strategy, AI for creative teams, and enterprise video operations — three consulting domains, one person who's built across all of them.

Consulting domains
01

Video strategy consulting

For businesses making video at any scale. How to structure a shoot, build a post workflow, hire the right people, and avoid the mistakes that cost $50K to learn. From "we've never made a video" to "our content operation needs a rethink."

Cannes Lion-winning editor (Dead Space 2 "Best Internet Film"), 20 years across documentary, commercial, and enterprise. Colorist, director, producer.

  • Content strategy and video marketing roadmaps
  • Production workflow design and optimization
  • Vendor and talent evaluation
  • Post-production pipeline consulting (edit, color, mix, VFX, motion)
  • Video marketing strategy for small businesses
02

AI for creative teams

For teams drowning in content demands. What to build, what to buy, what to ignore. Custom pipeline architecture, tool stack audits, and honest assessment of what AI actually changes about your workflow — from someone who builds and uses these tools daily.

Built an AI content generation platform at Salesforce Studios. Runs Qwen 3.5, Gemma 4, and Minimax M2.7 models locally. Built the AI toolchain finishing his own feature documentary.

  • Custom AI video pipeline architecture
  • Tool stack audits and workflow roadmaps
  • Content generation platform design
  • Editorial automation for post teams
  • Honest answers about what's real and what's hype
03

Enterprise video operations

For organizations building or scaling an internal video operation. I started Salesforce's post-production from a single workstation in a boardroom and grew it to a full film floor over 12 years — hiring the teams, designing the facility, deploying the MAM, and pioneering AI workflows. This consulting is that playbook, adapted to your scale.

12 years at Salesforce Studios. Built post-production from a Mac Pro in a boardroom to a full film floor — 5 edit suites, 2 color suites, 3 mix rooms, 2 3D rooms, podcast studio. Founded the in-house 3D team. Designed and deployed the studio's first MAM (2M+ assets). Pioneered virtual production and AI workflows. Still the senior editor and resident colorist.

  • Internal studio build-out — from zero to full film floor
  • DAM/MAM architecture and implementation (built one managing 2M+ assets)
  • Team structure, hiring strategy, and vendor-vs-in-house decisions
  • Virtual production and volume stage workflow design
  • AI integration strategy for existing video operations
  • Post-production pipeline design (edit, color, mix, VFX, motion, 3D)
How engagements work

Simple, no-surprises structure.

Step 01

Call

Free 30-minute call. I ask what you want. You ask me anything.

Step 02

Scope

Written scope with deliverables, timeline, and price. Clear enough to forward to your team.

Step 03

Work

We work together. I bring the expertise, you bring the context. Weekly check-ins, no surprises.

Step 04

Deliver

Actionable recommendations, documentation, and a clear path forward. You own everything.

The production portfolio

The consulting isn't theoretical.

Everything I advise on, I've done. The production work on this site isn't a separate business — it's proof that the consulting comes from real craft. If a consulting engagement turns into a production opportunity I have time for, that happens organically.

An honest note

I'll tell you if we're not a fit.

The worst outcome for both of us is an engagement that shouldn't have happened. If your ask is outside my expertise, or you need hands-on production and I don't have the bandwidth, I'll say so on the call and point you somewhere better.

Next step

Think we might fit?

Tell Eve what you're working on. She knows Kevin's background and will pass a message along if there's a fit.
